Bay Harbor Company of Bay Harbor, Michigan, has announced a dock expansion at its Bay Harbor Lake Marina. The improvement, the first such project in the facility's 26-year history, is expected to be complete in June.
The project on the marina's Pier B will add 35 slips ranging from 40 to 120 feet. all of which are currently available for reservations. Bay Harbor, which has a protected harbor leading directly into Little Traverse Bay, offers floating docks that accommodate the fluctuating water levels in Little Traverse Bay and Bay Harbor Lake.
According to the company, boaters appreciate that the docks are proximate to Bay Harbor’s downtown village, offering restaurants, boutiques, specialty services, and events at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts.
Amenities for boaters at the marina include a boater’s lounge, restrooms, showers, WiFi, electric and water hookups, dockside sanitary pump out, and dockhands offering assistance. Boat-cleaning services, fishing charters, and bicycles for boaters are also available at the marina. Village Suites Bay Harbor and Bay Harbor Vacation Rental Homes are also within walking distance from the docks.
